Here's a look into our week of missions in Danville, Virginia. Our students were on missions teams with students from all over the southeast. They served on three homesites (scraping, painting, and landscaping), the Boys and Girls Club of Danville, the Salvation Army of Danville, and God's Pit Crew. They learned about and gave offering for the Village of Hope, a ministry providing a home and hope for the street children of Kiev, Ukraine. And, they learned fresh new ways to encounter God through Bible study and worship.
I am so proud of all of their gifts of time, energy, and love to this community. During this week, they were challenged to step out of their comfort zones and get messy serving the God who so loves them.
